Is it among the blooming flowers of the spring
Or on top of the spiky thorns: sharp and green
Is it along the drifting tides of the ocean
Or inside the sand castle about to open
Is it where the feathers roam around the sky
Or where the unbudgeable rocks and mountains lie
Is it beside him and her in this conventional world
Or aside visionary souls in a cosmos afar
Would compose a poem of gratitude- sincere and long
Only if you could tell me where do I belong
You are not alone with these feelings, many of us feel like we are in the wrong place, nothing seems to fit. I would choose visionary souls

You very much belong to your “self” dear than to anything or anyone 😊

That seems too facile to be true 😅

There’s something magical in your way of writing, there’s a place of beauty and purity that you reach through your words…if you ever lose yourself, that’s where the most precious part of your heart belongs to, and this place belongs to you only.
Thank you with all my heart for following my blog, it was wonderful to discover yours. Many blessings upon your beautiful heart!

Many of us don’t know who we are/where we fit in. You are not alone, my friend.

Beautifully written. Your imagery is gorgeous and sends a powerful message: Where do I fit in, if I can fit in? Where is my place in this world? I love each line of your verses, all so vibrant, lyrical, and related to the different elements of nature. The photos are also lovely.
Thank you so much for the follow. I really appreciate this. However, there is a much better writer than me, whom I strongly recommend you and all your followers. It is my friend Mario Savioni. His novel “Pickles and Tarts” (very short chapters, easy to read), is a story where 54-year-old Frank has been selected by 19-year-old Nicole through a dating site. Frank looks at Nicole’s photos on the site and is attracted to her beauty. Nicole tells him she has a boyfriend and is not interested in a romantic relationship. She adds: “It’s fun to talk to different people sometimes.” The only apparent thing Frank and Nicole seem to have in common is their interest to write stories. Perhaps they want to meet just to write one together? “Pickles and Tarts” is a lovely story of illusion-delusion, dream-reality, non-conformist with the Capitalist system, reflective on love, sex and human relationships in today’s world. It is profound and highly intriguing: https://savioni.wordpress.com/2019/03/15/pickles-and-tarts-chapter-10/

I don’t “belong” anywhere. I don’t fit in with any group. My home is scattered about. There is a sizeable bit with the wilderness where there is nobody else around to tell me I don’t belong. Another bit belongs to the nude and the naked. They are the most forgiving and understanding people and to be nude and completely accepted is to be truly free. Other parts of me belong to the scientists of the world; the quest for knowledge and exploration of the unknown.
I have given up on my search for meaning in life and will settle for a decent fantasy.

I sometimes feel it’s an advantage that I’m unknown where I belong because my subconscious doesn’t constraint me to a certain criteria. I try new things hoping that might be where I belong and learn new things continuously.
I hope the fantasy will satisfy your life 🙂

your belongingness only remains unidentified unless you label yourself and categorise as “you do not belong”. We feel the same way but yet needs to survive in this modern world, take it day by day. Your words are amazing

I guess that’s true. The need to be categorized increases the uncertainty. Thank you so much for stopping by.
